I have a photo with varous yellow stains and blotches on the photo. Some of these are on parts of the persons in the photograph (arm, face). What is the best way to get rid of these stains?

There are several options . . . Clone Stamp Tool is problably the best way - without seeing the photo it is hard to say. With people's faces the name of the game is to be patient and work in small areas. You may also be able to fade the stain out (or at least make it a little less obvious) using Curves, or Levels. |

As rkgraphix said. Careful use of the clone brush is probably the best way to take unwanted material out of a photograph, including stains and blotches.

http://www.rogueelement.net/pics here are some I did a while ago, I grabbed from online a year ago to try my hand at it. I used of course the clone tool, but also the replace color tool, the eyedropper on the box will pick the color. use the fuzziness slider to confine to those colors and adjust the colors. I first used it doing this , it was trial and error, but it came out not too bad. Rogue good luck:D |
