Color Problems (help please) |

Ok, I creat an image in photoshop 6.0, using the HTML color codes i want to match my site (for rounded table cornors) then I save the image as web, and use the image on my table for my website, and the color of the image does'ent match the website colors.. after I use the SAME color codes... you know whats wrong? :(

Check the color settings in your "Save for web" dialog box. If you have it on Web Safe, it will most likely screw it up. Put it on Adaptive or Selective or something like that. Let us know if that works. |

Yeah, that looks ok. You don't really need the dithering though I don't think. Try turning your color manager off in photoshop. It's in the color settings thing I think. Under Image > Color Settings perhaps. I'm at work and don't have Photoshop, or I could give you more specific help. Just try to turn all color management off if you can figure out how. |

ok, i found the color settings under the edit tab... is that where im suppose to go :confused:

Yeah, try that. And then there should be something about color management or something like that. Again, I don't have access to Photoshop right now so I can't tell you for sure. But maybe someone else that is at home can.

woah....dejavue (er however u spell it) I posted a while ago on this same prob i had and still have. I got some great responses but still no luck, i gave up on it a few months ago. Maybe someday when i'm not so lazy I'll c if what deker said helps.

lol, the thing that makes me mad, is im just in the process of making a website, www.refluxi.net . Now my Photoshop is screwed so I can still make graphics but not the colors I want. :(

Nope, Pank is the only one that can do that. Have to be admin level. He usually charges $50 for a name change as well. |
