11X17 Inch Print Capability

I would very much appreciate some help from anyone here. I have created an album page of several individual pictures on an 11X17 inch background layer. The trouble is, when I go to print it out, all I get is the 8 1/2 by 11 inch 'corner' portion of the picture, with the other individual shots not printing out. Is there something I have to set inside the program to get the full 11X17 print area? I have Photoshop Elements with a HP 1220 C deskjet printer. I have set the paper area within the printer setup to 11X17 already. I appreciate any help I can get here.

go to your printer properties, go to features, select hp zoomsmart, then select the 11x17 to 8.5x11. I t works great!!
