Glass Effects

Pank, the glass effect on the left side of your website kicks some serious ass. Kudos to you.

However, since Pank it seems does not wish to enlighten us regarding this effect (and I can't say I blame him), I'm wondering if anybody knows of anything that comes close.

There has to be some other cool glass effects out there; effects whose creators don't mind sharing...

as for glass, gradients are a good method...
