..::I have just recently gotten into photoshop, its a great program.. But i am curious how some things are done, and am having trouble doing a couple things.. FIrst off, this imgae i think is very nice. Can someone please explain how I can do the hexagons, and the squares, like all shaded differently? http://members.optushome.com.au/wizardx8/tutorials/Figure%209.jpg I am also having some troubles making Lines in photoshop. I would like to have a style applied, so i can make a dotted line, but How do you make a new style and make it work when creating a new line? Also when i try and make a plain black line it always has a pair of thin grey lines on the edge of it, WHY? the pic with the lines I speak of is here--> http://www.geocities.com/tempgraphics/slip.gif And the last thing, (not important), does anyone recognise/know what font is used in the pic above that spells "SLIP" or in the text at the top of this screen that says "community forum"? I really like them Any help would be appriciated. |

Those are some pretty general questions, Have you read any of the "help" files in the Help menu? I suggest you do... you will get much more information. Now... Can someone please explain how I can do the hexagons, and the squares, like all shaded differently? there are about a hundred ways to do this with a million different results.
as you can see that list could go on for hours. So read those help files.... search them for things like "Lines" and see what you come up with. Oh yeah, sorry I don't know those fonts... but I'm sure someone will. |
