big stars

I was wondering on how he could make such big stars? Like this for example. You might need to copy and paste the link to a new browser if that is not too much trouble.

looks to me like:

a white circle with a little guassian blur and then a touch of motion blur for the stars.

.......but if you look in you "brushes" pallet and dig around a little
(> "load brushes") you'll find a couple of brushes that ARE stars.
