my ps6 copy doesn't run under win 2000.While loading it tells me that the "primary workspace volume" is on the the same physical partition like win2000 than it stops initialization. ps5.5 is running very well. Any suggestions how install a working ps6? |

so I'm sure I understand... are you getting the error while trying to "install" PS 6 or is it already installed and just wont initiallize? |

Well I know that Photoshop suggests that you change the scratch disks to something other than the primary partition, but I guess I'm not entirely sure if it's the same thing. Been awhile since I've paid attention to that warning screen.

Howdy, Alabama ps6 installs without any problem. The program stops loading during initialization. |

try trashing your "prefs" file (with photoshop NOT running) if you need to know where it is located on your machine... just search your system or this forum for "prefs" if that doesn't work... trash the Photoshop .ini file... then relaunch PHotoshop. Lastly... if you haven't you should download and install the 6.01 patch available from the adobe website |

howdy, Alabama, I did everything you suggested with one exception: can't find a ps6.ini! Needless to say that ps6 isn't running. New ideas? jeft |
