i've been using adobe 6.0 for a while now, and i just wanted to know if its possible to (or a technique) to do the same color modes (dodge and burn) in 5.5 in 6.0........ ++know anywhere to get some nice grundge brushes? :confused: |

Nope , it is not possible as easy as in 5.5 , You can imulate the same effect in ps6 , but its SO much work , and is not worth it , Im using Ps 5.5 just because of that.

No its not so much work - its quite easy, and the effect is exactly the same - dont let anyone tell you otherwise. Just use the advanced blending slider instead of the layer opacity slider to control the opacity of the dodge and burn layers. If you want exactly the same haloing effect that dodge had in version5 then simply go to the fill menu and fill "behind" with 100% black. White for Color Burn. The only real disadvantage that 6 has over 5 is that its no longer possible with keyboard shortcuts (alt shift D for example) to get the better dodge and burn effects. |
