I've seen it in many magazines but rarely on the web. I don't think it's part of the Trade Gothic family... Anyone have an idea? http://www.realnetworks.com/index.html (The all-caps font used in the center) |

Yeah it's the "FUELING THE DIGITAL". Although, I've played with verdana and arial and it doesn't seem to be those either. I even checked identifont.com. Oh well.. |

If you use "Myriad" at 33pt and 50 character spacing (I'm using Illustrator) you'll get close. The G's and D's are the most noticable differences from that phrase.

Its a very standard sans serif - the thing is its been artificially condensed - (in Quark Xpress language "scaled" horizontally) - and the tracking is very loose. In Photoshop — just use free transform and squash it a bit and then increase the letter spacing (keyboard shortcut; control shift - right arrow) |

I just asked a friend of mine who knows a lot about typography. The font is Helvetica Neue Light Extended. Thanks for the tip, ALIENA!! |
