help me! type won't behave

Someone help me, pleaaaseeee!! I cannot get my type to stop slanting to the right. I have tried everything in my limited experience. I've tried all different font styles and even though the window says it is "regular", it still slants to the right. ARRRRRRRggghhh !!! I give up; I've spent way too long trying to fix it.

You probably have Faux Italic turned on. Basically if a font does not have an italic version available, you can use that setting to fake it.

To fix it go to your Character Palette, and there should be a setting in there somewhere to turn it off. I think you can get to it by clicking on the little Arrow that points to the right.

If that doesn't work let me know and we'll have to try something else.
