Can you add filters to Photoshop LE? If you can where can I get them and how do I install them?

Thanks in advance

What's up is this not a question that warrants a reply? If I knew the answer I wouldn't have asked it.

The lack of replys generally suggest that the people that viewed your post didn't know tha answer either.

I myself don't know anything about LE other than it won't open files in the CMYK color model.... that makes it an application I could never use so I don't know tha answer to your question either.

Have you checked at the adobe site?

have you checked the help files within the application?

have you looked in the photoshopLE folder to see if it has a folder that houses plug-ins or filters?

Since it is a "watered down" version of Photoshop, my first thoughts would be toward "No, you can't add filters to it" but again.... I don't know anything about the application.

While not a full answer to your question, let me tell you what I know. I use LE and this week added about thirty filters. So yes you certainly can add filters.

This week I was in a large bookstore and saw a Uk computer graphics magazine "digit" that advertised a free disk with PS filters, cost $8USD. The filters were zipped and the install asked me to extract them to the "host plug-in directory". Then I pointed it the plug-in directory and the extract program created a new folder and droped them in there. Really easy installation.

I would think that a search in google.com for filters would bring up a few free and a lot of for pay filters. At that point you can download them and install them in your plug-in directory. I am being a bit vague here but this shouldnt be a biggy. Also find a PS filter book with a CD, should be same thing.

Hope this helps
Neal
