I was just wondering if anyone knows how to reset everything withing Adobe Photoshop 5.5 to it's original default settings. My main problem is the colour settings, when I am creating a picture in Adobe Photoshop everything looks yellow (within the pic, like white #FFFFFF looks yellow) although after I am done making a pic and I save it, when viewd outside of Adobe Photoshop it looks right (like if I used white to draw something it would look yellow inside of Adobe Photoshop, but outside it looks white). Well if anyone can help me, I would greatly appreciate it, you can either e-mail me, ICQ me, message me, or post a reply in this forum, either way I don't mind too much as long as someone can help. Thanks for you time. |

Maybe your gamma correction for photoshop is set wrong ? try to delete the Adobe Gamma Color Managment by going this way... Rightclick on desktop / Properties / Settings / Advanced / Color Managment Now delete the Adobe Gamma etc.... If you have one listed there. Then open Photoshop and re-install a new gamma configuration. This maybe help ya.....Or not. Try it. |

You have a corrupt monitor profile ... this "yellowing" is something that has been a problem for a few users - do a search on the Adobe forum, http://www.adobeforums.com/cgi-bin/webx?14@@.ee6b362 or see this link ... http://www.adobe.com/support/techdocs/1e0ae.htm which if you follow it carefully should sort out your problem. |

OK I've managed to fix it thanks to the article http://www.adobe.com/support/techdocs/1e0ae.htm all I had to do was within Adobe photoshop, click Properties > Color Settings > RBG Setup > Then Deselect Display Using Monitor Compresion. Thanks a lot to everyone who tried to help, I greatly appreciate it Antonio Javier Dominguez |
