Hi guys, i saw this poster and like the look of it. A sort of old hollywood-look. I did a search in old posts on this forum but couldn't find anything like it. What's the best way to make your images/photo's look like that, a bit old? Hope my question is a bit clear... ![]() |

Well I tried something like that a while back, but I cannot find it. I had a hand-drawn thing I had done and colorized, and then I scanned it in and threw a layer over the top of it and just used the "Difference Clouds" filter, and then lowered the opacity. I did blur out the original image a bit. I know there was more to it than that.........dangit.....I'll find that picture. I know I still have the PSD for it somewhere......hold tight. |

I guess it's a bit hard to imitate as the look results mostly from the way paintings were done back then. If you wanna work on some drawing, I'd advise you to try some (gaussian) blur, adding monochrome noise and experiment with some style and art filters while trying not to overuse them (if at all). Also, I think the obviously low resolution of the pic adds to the effect. ![]() |
