i'd like to create a long 3d lookin tunnel so its as if you are at the opening and you can see way down it any help would be great

Do you know anything about perspective?? What you want is one point perpective most likely. Look at this I think that may help a lot. |

charm's tunnel tutorial step 1: get a shovel step 2: dig a hole step 3: take a picture or charm's other tunnel tutorial step 1: find a tunnel (train, prarie dog, hole in a wall, etc) step 2: take a picture |

A hole is basically a cylinder. When you look at a cylinder in 3D, one of the circular portions is larger than the other. If the cylinder was hollow, you would see a large circle, followed by a smaller circle. If there was light, you would pretty much only see light coming out the small end if your head/eye is blocking the other end. So at its most basic, draw a big black circle, and then a tiny white one and put it on a layer on top of the big one. Of course, for a hole dug in the ground, it would be reversed, with the larger circle being lighter than the smaller one, but the small one would still be on top. Very simple mechanics. But to make it look good and not like cardboard cutouts will be a matter of how good you are at photoshop. |
