Hey everybody can you visit this site and tell me how they made those cool flame effects in a step by step guide. It's really cool. cellrevenge.net

OH yeah and thanks to all teh people who have helped me get use to Photoshop it's a great program.

Well we are here to help, but try finding another site wich use the same effect as you intend to try your best on. Cuz popup sites makes only the common man irritated......

If you find another site (without them popups) with this effect......Ask again...... :D

Achieving an effect that looks like that 100% would take a LONG time to do in Photoshop, IMO. Whomever created that website just used some clipart and added it to that page. The swirly/firey lines are most likely some sort of photograph of moving lights that has been exposed in a weird way. Or it could possibly be a 3D rendering program. All I know is that to achieve an effect like that in photoshop would probably require a lot of time and effort using the line tool, TONS of layers, motion blur, wave filter, and effective channel usage.

This has already been discussed once before, and a true way to do it without going into a 20-page how-to on managing all the multiple layers is too much to ask here. I'd say that would be a long project somebody would have to figure out to make something look exactly like that without starting off with a photo or 3d render.
