Gradiants? |

Could some explain what a gradient does in terms I could easily understand. I grip everything is photoshop except the purpose of a gradiant. Thank you for your help. Stinklove |

A gradient is a blend of two or more colours. Let's imagine I have an empty canvas, and I fill that canvas white. I select the bottom half of the canvas and fill that in black. I now have a canvas with white at the top and black at the bottom. If I wanted to blend the two colours together, I would use a gradient. The top half would be a solid white and as you look further down the canvas, it would get darker and darker until it turns black. Here is a picture: |
