whats the easiest way to give rectangles rounded edges in Photoshop 6?

Use the rounded rectangle tool.

on the tool bar it is the ninth button down on the right. Also accessed by pressing the "U" button on your keyboard.
Click the button and hold to see all the options available under that tool...ORRR just look at the top of the PS interface with the ninth button down on the right on the toolbar selected.


You may want to spend some time reading the "help" files in Photoshop to get associated with the tools.
