Hi, all! I'm sorry if this is a stupid question; I've searched to see if anyone else asked it, but I can't tell...

I recently downloaded the trial version of Photoshop Elements 6.0, and everything worked fine until I loaded some new brushes. Ever since I loaded those brushes, the only color ANY brush will paint in is white. I deleted the brushes, but I still can't paint in any other color.

Has anyone else ever had this problem, and what'd you do to fix it?

Thank you for reading!

hi,
never had that issue per say with my elements 5....

however it could be just a setting.. after you click the brush button... look there above the image and you hopefully see a "mode" by default it should be in "normal" if not click down arrow pick "normal"... I have noticed if it in leanear or dodge it wil for the most part paint in white mostly... depending on what other colors involved...

I hope this helps

I checked the mode, and it's set to Normal, but it's still painting only in white. I just can't understand why...@_@;

EDIT: jerrylb's response got me to playing around with the settings, and somehow, it reset to painting the color I tell it to...so question resolve! Thank you, jerrylb!

hi,
that great...... by any chance do you remember what setting that you played around with...? just curious...

i find most of my unusal issues is because of some setting that i forgot about rechanging back, or because i was using a certain mode or setting and there was certain things i could n't do with those setting or modes.... smiling..... ahh the adventure and challenge smile...
