Hi Folks, I am using Photoshop CS3 for Mac with a Nikon D70s shooting JPEG images. Can I determine my shutter activation count for the D70s (metadata in EXIF) through CS3? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |

You wont be able to see the shutter count in the Exif data displayed by Photoshop. You will need a dedicated Exif reader to do this. I've used this free utility to read shutter counts. Don't know if it works on a MAC, but I assume that there are Exif readers available for the MAC. http://www.opanda.com/en/iexif/download.htm You need to use an unprocessed jpeg image straight from the camera. You can copy it to your hard drive, but it doesn't work if you try it on images that have been saved in a graphics program as far as I know. |

Hi George, Thanks for your response. I also have a PC running Photoshop 7.0 on XP, maybe that will work. Thanks again. Russ |
