hi, maybe i can get you started..... A couple of note first.... even though you have cs2 a lot of things that are address in ps7 and cs1 can apply to cs2 ...... also there are ton of tutorials on using certain tools....... and there easy to find for example by doing a search for "photoshop tutorial magic wand" you'll specific hits on the usage of the wand tool.... 1. the very first thing you need to do is look at where everything is in program, the work area,.... take note of what in the various menues.... take note of your toolbar and the various tools and also how to call up the different tools note: you'll see a little arrow in a tool box , click that and you see some related tools...!! this is important to know where things are to begini with when you start doing the tutorials make things easier.... so review the workspace area... this link i think will help you.... http://graphicssoft.about.com/od/photoshopcs2lessons/Photoshop_CS2_Basics_Online_Course_Index_of_Lessons.htm A related page ... that goes into some of the tools http://graphicssoft.about.com/od/photoshoptutorialsbasic/Photoshop_Basics_Tutorials_for_Photoshop_Beginners.htm this is a nice short video tutorial for cs2... http://youtube.com/watch?v=fgIz9DH2-sY you may like this one.... http://graphicssoft.about.com/od/photoshop/ig/The-Photoshop-CS2-Workspace/Photoshop-CS2-Workspace.htm 2. one of my favorites sites for basics editing... is this site... it enphasis modfying cars but the tutorials are applicable to any kind of situation... http://www.digimods.co.uk/tutorials/tutorials.htm there a lot more i could probably add but don't want to overload you.... but be aware there ton of photoshop tutorial sites out there.... and there many forums.. i like this one but i also like the one over at retouchpro.com ...there a very active board, a lot of pros and talented hobbyiest on photoshop and also on photography ... I like them because you can easily upload images and people will work and give you a summery the steps they went thru..... |
