saving

okay, so its not like i dont know how to work photoshop.
i have CS3, and i need help.
lets start out with a scenerio.
so im working on an image for my furaffinity account, lets say, an art trade. and i go to save my image. i click "save as" or i use the shortcut shift+ctrl+s.
guess what happens? the window begins to pop up, and it does for a split second...not even that. and then it closes, not photoshop, just the save as window. then photoshop becomes unresponsive. ;__;;;;
please halp?

Maybe you can uninstall your Photoshop and install it again.

my computer doesnt give me that option. i could go into my control panel and reinstall/repair the program there. would that help at all?
