Newbie question about image conatain texts |

I have many catalogs exist in the form of image files, my task is translate these catalog into my country language, so I want to ask, can Photoshop recognizes texts in image and has for me some ways to replace them by my texts ? Thanks !!! |

hi, probably would help if we had a example to look at.... if the text is on the image itself... the answer is NO! PS will not recognize text that is part of the image it self!! ....if you want to eliminate that text that part of the image then you would need to use your various tools such as cloning or healing brush along with your drawing toos like lasso or box etc.. to eliminate the text and replace with your own... if you have a lot of images like this what yo can do PS ... is expand the canvas and put text let say in the new area and not on the image itself.. there are programs like gwspro (alchemnymindworks.com) and I think irfanview.com also that does it very easy... |
