Hello, I have created this sphere and due to it's size had it at about 8% (screen size). It was created from a circular gradient and at full size is just circles. I'm wondering how I can make it look like the example provided of it (this how it looks when it is scaled). Hope someone can help. I'm stumped. Andy. |

The effect you are seeing on the 8% image is an artifact of the level of magnification and your screens ability to display a true rendering of the image. The problem is that there are more pixels in the image than the screen is capable of rendering. So you get these interference patterns at this magnification, and only see the true nature of the image when you view it at 100%. It is possible that there are programs out there that create spherical interference patterns like this at full resolution, but I don't know of any. You might try googling for "photoshop interference patterns" and try some of the links you find. |
