How do we take snapshot like a ichat window on the desktop and then importing it into photoshop? We saved a ichat window, but it did not import into photoshop because photoshop did not recognise the format it was in. |

hi, should be very simple.... if it of a im window suggest you hit the keys alt+prtscn that will automatically capture the active window and put on the clipboard,,, and then you can paste that on your canvas in your PS!! note just hitting the prtscn key capture the entire window display screen...! note: there various third party programs that will do screen cqptures and automatically save.... if you do a lot of these screen captures... this type program work very well since it automaticaly save in a tiff or bmp format and then later can bring into your PS.... check out download.com they have free screen capture programs you can use!! |

Ah! On a Mac, screen shots are taken by pressing Cmd (Apple) + shift + 3. Off the top of my head, I think the Mac saves the screenshot as a PDF file called Pic 1 on your desktop, and this is easily opened by option + click on the file and selecting Open With>Photoshop.
