Putting a logo in backround of a Pic?? |

Im trying to put my friends record label Logo in the backround of a pic of him (both the same size ..but the logo like transperant ) ... I know i have to create 2 layers and lower the opesity of the Logo ...then what? how do I combine them?.. thanx in advance guys |

That's pretty easy ryan. Just go to Layer > Flatten image. I'd make sure to save the layered copy though, just in case you wanted to make any changes. Of course, if you wanted the logo behind your friend, that's a different story. What you'd need to do then is use the pen tool to carefully draw around your friend, and once that was done go to your Paths palette menu and Make Selection. Then go to Select > Inverse. In your Layers palette, select the logo layer and then press the Add Layer Mask button (at the bottom of the Layers palette). |

Another way is to save the file. Choose File > Save for Web. This will create a picture with visible layers merged into one. Then you dont lose layers by flattening Thats how this was made http://www.australiabanners.com.au/mygal/b/b272.php |
