Hi Everyone, I have a weird issue in a german version of Photoshop CS2. Whenever I am trying to apply a filter or something that need a little more time to compute the following error is popping up: (Its in German; I will try an translate as good as i can): -------- Konnte den Motion Trail-Befehl nicht benutzen, weil nicht genuegend Arbeitsspeicher (RAM) nicht vorhanden ist. -------- Cannot start the Motion-Trail command because not enough RAM is availible. -------- Befor you think that I don't have enough RAM: 4 GB RAM and 8 GB Virtual RAM are setup. Graphicsadaptor is an ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT. I am Using windows XP SP2. I hope someone had a similar issue. Cheers and thanks in advance. J |

hi, I don't have that problem but i have seen similar problems with other programs.... The two things i would try first... 1. purge your internet cache and DEFRAG... this helps in many ways... especially managing the ram and virtual memory on the hard drive.. and easier for the system to call up your tools and such... 2. another possiblity is backgroud program causing conflicts... go into your msconfig>general>diagnostic> uncheck "load startup ..." wht this will do is desable which one or mor eof them is interferring with your PS ... if this works then you know it was one of the startup and use process of elimination to pin it down now there could be other reasons such as the program corrupted,, but the above are the two things I would do first... since there the 2 most common reasons... |
