Hi there,

I've just done a photo-shoot with some models and my photographer wants to charge £10 per image for cutting the model out of the infinity screen. I'm decent with photoshop as i've used it for years and i could technically cut it out by magic wand and some manual cutting.

I was wondering, is there a trick to this?

How does a pro go about quickly and nicely cutting a model out of an infinity screen?

hi,
I am no pro, lol, but there a lot of ways and many time it depends on the picture what the best tools or techniques...

A lot of pro tend favor the pen tool but that alwys seems to me be hard for me to get right...

one popular way and it very good is channel masking..! it can really capture those details such as hair, etc.. there a score of webSites to accomplish this.....

Now russel brown has a couple of fine videos tutorial..
on this link there a couple of tutorials i think you'll fine very usefull

1. toward the bottom of the list look for "advance masking"

2. about 2/3 the way down look for "Advanced Background Extraction"
