greetings, i've been using photoshop since 5.0 and never run into this. i normally use a mac in photoshop, if that makes any difference... I'm using cs2 on an HP pc loaded with Vista, and a samsung moniter. This moniter displays colors fine, but in photoshop they are messed up- in particular the whites, which appear as a yellowish off-white. This has nothing to do with the color profile on whichever file im looking at, it happens with any rgb/cmyk profile i use. I've found nothing in any preferences to fix this. help! many thanks in advance ;) |

hi, not sure how much help i can be i am a novice..... but maybe... I had a similar problem... and sovled by going to my color management policy in photoshop cs ..... for som reason my work space setup for just rgb ... so i changed it to sRGB ... that cured my issue... also you may need to look at some of the other setting in your color managment policies.... you may need to play around with some of the other choices to find one that works best for your monitor I hope that helps... |
