I have a problem. Last year I created a postcard for my business using PS6. I edited an old card that I had from what I think was a jpg or pdf. I now have photoshop cs2, and I need to edit the text on the card only, not the background. I have it saved as a jpg, and a pdf, however once I open it in CS2, what do I do to be able to delete the old text and begin typing new? I did it once before, but I'm brain dead and can't seem to figure it out again.

I'm using PS CS2 and windows Xp.

Any help is great appreciated!

If the image has been flattened you'll have to start over from the background image you have. If its still a layered file you just delete/edit the text layers.

I guess that's my problem, is I've only ever had a copy with text already on it. So since I've done it once somehow I'm sure It can be done again. What's the easiest way to delete/edit the text layers?

Thanks for the help!

If you only have a copy of the image without the layers, there is no way to easily remove the text.
