I have saved a image (as a BMP file) with a transparent background. I want to use this image as my wallpaper. However when I show this image on my desktop (as the wallpaper), the background shows as white white color while I was hoping that I will only see the image and the background will be transparent :( Can someone please help me how to achieve the desired result. Thanks |

hi, the very least you have to use a different format.. bmp and jpg do not have the ability to save transparent info..... you have to use something like gif or png or tiff , those formats retain transparent info... |
