Hi,

This is going to sound such a stupid question compared to all the other more advanced ones on here but here it is. Basically I have a picture of a friend and they need it on a white background instead of the background she is currently on. I have done loads of research and tried using the extract tool which cos of the way her hair is didnt work, so then I attempted to use the pen tool but was left with all jagged edges. I dont really know where to go from here so any help would be greatly appreciated!! Here is the links to the original, extract and then pen attempts in that order:

russel brown has a nice video tutorial called "advance masking" involving hair http://russellbrown.com/tips_tech.html also he has a tutorial on extraction... but i think the advance masking will be maybe best for you..
