short answer->>>
random polygon shapes overlaying each other with different blend modes.

How to->>
Use the polygon lasso tool to make a couple random shapes on a couple different layer....duplicate those layers and rotate/scale/modify them.
THEN apple varying blend modes to them.

Dont' forget the Phong grid in the first one.. ;) It's the meshy looking stuff. If you need a tut for that, go to Phong's website. He also has numerous other tuts that are pretty nice.
