How to remove a border in a image |

I have a border on an image and was wondering how to remove it? fwiw - the image background is white and the border is black. I use Photoshop CS2. Thank you for looking. |

hi, am not sure if am just pointing out the obvious or not... but if the background is solid white, can you not just paint over the black?
