Dude this is soo weird. I was using photoshop one day nice and perfect. Soon, it was time for me to go to bed. So I went to bed, woke up the next morning, ate breakfast, then went onto my pc. I quickly loaded photoshop (because I wanted to make another cool sig) and it seemed to work great. I set the pixles and what not too. So once the box loaded up, I wanted to add some clouds. So I clicked on "render" and clicked on clouds and it froze on me. I have NO idea what the problem is. It does this everytime I click on something in that menu thing. So i was like "ok whatever, reloded photoshop, and I decided i'll just add some grain". Grain seemed to work. I clicked on a grain and then clicked ok. The grain took 10 mintues to finish finalizing so it could appear on my sig. After the bar got full, photoshop X'ed itself out while I'm sitting back saying "WTF......". I tried a crap load of stuff to fix it but nothing works! Someone help!

just guess, but I would lean toward you trying to apply those filters to an image that is of a very high resolution. if the image in question is going to be a sig.... stay with 72ppi
