Hi! I have a trial of Photoshop which I LOVE so much! My baby! On other non- Photoshop related forums people make signature for people...I have been doing this but I am not going to beg people to let me do their signature ( like some annoying people are doing) And I understand that you can do sooo many things with this program.. not just signatures! So as a beginner, what are some things( fun things) that I can work on to boost my.. Photoshop knowledge? Any certain tutorials? Thanks again .. any more questions just ask Lemme also add that I am pretty good at the signatures! |

It's really only limited to your imagination... Design a web site, design a flyer, paint a picture, color a picture, design a logo, re-touch photos, restore damaged photos, the possibilities are endless. There are tutorials out there for anything you want to do. Just think of something you want to try, search for a tutorial on Google, and you are on your way.

hi, I totally agree with deker... there are ton of things you can do with photoshop.... ie; retouching those old scratch/torn photographs, turn a photo graph into a oil or water color, taking a object or person from one picture to another , making composites and the list goes on..... note: keep in mind... that there is more than one way of doing the same thing in ps... smile.... for example technique that works well on one picture, may need to use a different techniques like... to extract a object or mask... in one case using the magnetic lasso or in another using channel masking .... note: also keep in mind.. although youhave photoshop cd 3 (i am assumig) tutorials for older versions are just as usefull... I suggest creat a favorite folder in your browser just for photoshop tutorial websites.. you'll have a lot.... also use your favorite search engine.... to find specific tutorals like PHOTOSHOP TUTORIAL COMPOSITE or PHOTOSHOP TUTORIAL MASKING ..... etc ...... I find a lot of my tutorials that way...!! a tipe: on those sites that you like to save the page it self... and not just bookmark.... do a save as and save the page as a "complete..." or as a mht file .... this will save not just the webpage but also the example graphics that in them... to give you an idea of sites.... these are a couple of favorites.. a. retouchpro.com -- like this site, it very good.. they deal a lot with retouching, enhancing, repairing images and graphics... they'll show before and after and the people give you step by steps on how they got the results.... plus they have a nice library of tutorials on various techniques..... b. http://www.digimods.co.uk/tutorials/tutorials.htm .. there enphasis is on decorating/manipulating cars... however.... there tutorial section is good there short and simple and there applicable to any project your doing not just cars.... c. these sites have nice library of video tutorials.... the videos are done very well....!!!! there outstanding..... http://www.radiantvista.com/ this site has a nice tutorial on cs3 what init and usefull.... http://russellbrown.com/ well those are my thoughts i hope it helpful for you... good luck and let your imagination go free.. smiling.... |
