make hitman smoke ? *URGENT*

hi,

im trying to create an image of hitman (from the game), however i want to make him appear as a kind of smoke effect.

so far this is what i have here except in this pic, it looks like he's just standing in some smoke.... i want him to actually look like he IS the smoke (ie, smoke makes up he's body, he has transparency in between him, he doesnt look solid).

im having a bit of a hard time with this, and i need it asap. does anyone have any ideas?

i dont know, something still just doesnt seem right. ok so now im trying to add a transparent wave like shape over the image. i would really like if i could make some really small parts of him transparent.... just to make him look more like a ghost and therefore fitting with the theme of 'silent assassin'.

any ideas?

If you have him on a seperate layer you can lower the opacity on that particular layer to make him transparant.

yeah looks like thats the best i'll be able to do....
