Need Help Urgently Please!

hey peoples umm well whats happened is my Boyfirend has put photoshop onto a disk for me and im trying to install it but having some problems...

can someone tell me step by step what to do?

Well if your boyfriend "Put it onto a disk" then it *probably* isn't a legal copy, and we kinda frown upon bootleg photoshop around here. Sorry.

i dunno he has it on his comp and i asked him to put it on disk for me so i can have it. who cares god all i wanna do is stuff around with my phots.

You put the CD in your computer, you should have the install window pop-up. You hit "next" a bunch of times, enter your serial, and the program should run.

I think that it is only illegal if he sold it to you.

Did you copy it from the Photoshop CD or from the computer. Macs, store imformation all over the place. If he has a Mac, and you copied it from the computer, you wouldn't of copied it all.

Copy it from the CD, then you know that all the settings and preferences are with it.

And, mac versions work on only Macs, and PC versions only work on PCs as they run on different systems. It would be useful for you to know what kind you are using.

Of course it isn't just illegal if he sold the copy.
If you buy photoshop, you actually buy a license. One license.
You can't go and install it everywhere.

And I'm pretty sure she doesn't have a mac, since she doesn't know what it is.
