JPEG format

I am editing a jpeg file. I have noticed that when I try to save the file it does not offer the jpeg format. Neither "save" nor "save as" offers a jpeg format.

How do I export a JPEG file format?

They should definately be there in the drop down box.

Have you also tried 'save for web' it will be there too.

Check and see what mode you are in. Most likely you are in a wrong mode, you should be in RGB 8.0 I believe. Post again if you don't understand and I'll take the time to show you how to switch it.
