What is the best place to install PS plug-ins? To save resources, is it best to them directly in thePhotoshop Plug-ins folder or create them outside the Photoshop folder and create shortcuts, or is there any significant difference? I have 1 GB of RAM assigned to PS and it is still on the slow side. Thanks.

I would try and load only the plugins you need into photoshop. Don't load them all, plugins tend to use a lot of resources. About where to place them, I'm not sure. I put them in the photoshop folder myself, I don't think it will make a big difference to place them elsewhere and point photoshop to that location. |
