Creating image based slices in CS3?

Ok, so PSCS3 Extended is great... but now that image ready is gone i'm having trouble creating image based slices and rollovers... where the frick is everything? i can make slices just fine but then how do i manipulate the rollover states (over, click, selected, out)? Any help would be much appreciated...

i think you do that in the html stuff. like you make the separate images and put them together in the site maker thingy. i use dreamweaver it does that in it.
