Hello good people.

Hello,
i have 2 problems with photoshop, i'm using PS CS3 extended btw.

My first problem is that my line tool turned into a freaking ARROW, and won't go back. The other day i basically chose the line tool coz i was doing somehting, and then i clicked on the line icon in the top left corner below file and edit, and clicked something there and all in all now my line is an arrow, so how do i change it back to line ?

My second problem is my gradient tool, basically when i choose my colors, e.g 2 colors, darker blue and lighter blue, and when i use the gradient i get2 colors that are much lighter then the colors i chose, so basically i have to apply the gradient a few times in order to get the colors i chose! Why is that ? ? ?

I realize this probably happened only to me but what can you do.If you can please help!

The second problem might be because the opacity of the gradient tool is low, so try to turn the opacity up. Dont blame me if im wrong, I only got Photoshop around a month ago...

First problem: In the tool options bar to the right of the shape tools there is a small black downward-pointing arrow (geometry options). Click on it to open the 'arrow heads' dialog box. Remove the ticks from the 'start/end' boxes. The line tool will now revert to a line.

Don't know the second problem, could you post a screen shot?

For the second problem: You may have a different gradient set on, not the normal oen oyu would usually use, fg to bg. Or, you can edit the settings of that gradient to be thicker.
