White Background problem

Hi all, first time posting here, hopefully will be more...

My image doesnt have a white background in it, at first... and because i need to separate all the colour channels, so i went to flatten it and split the colour channels and save it .psd format

The problem comes in when I import it to CorelDraw X3. There is a white background behind the images... I dont want the white background...

Is there anyway to solve this?

Hide the white background layer and import the PSD into CorelDraw - that solved my problem
