Hello, I am a little confused as to how CS3 is optimized for Intel... is it just for Mac based Intel processors, or Intel processors in general? I am buying a new laptop soon so I want to get the one best for Photoshop use. |

I'm not sure how it is optimized for Intel, but I think probably you should be looking at a Core 2 Duo chip with 2 gig ram and a good graphics card with it's own memory.

The AMD Dual Core would be just as good as the Intel Core 2 Duos I expect. I think a godd processors like that would definately benefit CS2/3 as would at 2 gigs of ram, which should only be about $150 or so more expensive than one with 1 gig. |
