Is there a simple way to switch out 1 specific color for another in photoshop? like, if I wanted to change everything in the image that is red to blue? Thanks

I use PS 7. You can use the selection tool and go to Image > Adjustments > Replace Color which I've had varying success with. I prefer to paint what I don't like in Quick Mask Mode and then alter it that way.

PS7 has select _ colour range tool - which as i just said in another post would do the trick. isolate the colour with this tool then go to image adjustments - colour balance or one of the others colour adjustment processes there.

Well, you can try layer>new adjustment layer>selective colors or color balance. When in one choose the general color you wish to change (after clicking okay) and adjust the settings to change the color/color tone. Try that. Hope this helped! |
