Photoshop CS2 crashes

can anyone help.. photoshop and illustrator crash on opening(on OSX Tiger).
has anybody else had similar problems?

I also experience this problem with Photoshop and Illustrator CS2. I will be running fine for about an hour or so, then Illustrator will unexpectedly quit. and now Photoshop won't open at all, it crashes everytime I try to open it up. I work at a newspaper, and need these programs, I need help!!!

I had to uninstall CS2 after gotten a message about some kind of cache-problems. It never wanted to start properly no matter what I did. And something is really strange with my PS7 aswell. it starts and works like a charm but I seem to have lost a huge amount of filters. I only have a few of them left. And by this a mean I have lost loads of the pre-installed filters....
And I can't save files with "Save to web..." :(

I found that Quark 7 was causing my problems. We uninstalled Quark and reboot it, and everything worked fine. So, there might be another program on your computer causing conflicts with your Adobe programs. Good luck;)
