help please.

simple simple question..
how do change the colors of a regular photo, to the red, blue and green type.
im not sure what it's called, can someone tell me how?

If you mean changing the colour mode to RGB:-

Image > Mode, Then check RGB color

You can also use 'duotone'. To do this, you flatten the image, then set it to grayscale. Then you can change the image mode to 'duotone'. (Image Mode) You can choose different colors to change the appearance of your picture.

Or, you could also using the blending options to manipulate the Color Balance.
