Well, I tried going to the links you offered up, but nuttin' came up. I then tried to ping them and got these responses. As far as my internet connection tells me, they don't currently exist on the net. Though that could change... ping thecellgame.animemode.com Unknown host thecellgame.animemode.com. ping www.anime-gods.com Pinging anime-gods.com [66.96.231.54] with 32 bytes of data: Request timed out. this one works.... http://thecellgame.animemode.com/pg_img/title.jpg but I have NO idea what texture you are talking about as the image holds a collage of several images and textures. the second link you posted, like Mr.B said.... it times out on a ping..... and 404's on the browser. |

Well, I took about 3 minutes to do this in PS. There is just no way to create a random texture to look like that. If anything, it seems the best way to create these lines or glowing hair or whatever is to draw lines on different layers, and using the wave filter and a tiny bit of motion blur. The red/orange glow around the lines is just that, an outer glow layer style on the lines. I then doubled up the layers, free transformed them a bit, and overlayed them on each other (I think, I at least used one of the blending modes on it). Of course, it isnt a perfect reproduction of the effect, but this is pretty good for the amount of time put into it (3 min).
