Hello everyone!! I am new to photoshop 7 and require some help.
I have to put cloths on manniquines. I have found the arms & hands but do not know how to cut them from their background. Don't want a white background but just the arm, hand etc. I then have to afix them to the clothing. I have to build the manniquine around the picture of the clothes.

Please help. Need detailed information or as a beginner Step-by-Step intructions.

Thanks all,
Jackie

Hi Jackie,
1. Open the image with "arms" and select the required area with Polygonal Lasso Tool as precisely as possible.
2. Copy the selected area to clipboard (Edit > Copy)
3. Open the target image
4. Paste the copied graphic (Edit > Paste)
5. Adjust size, position (Edit > Free Transform), color, tone (Image > Adjustments > ...), etc.

I want to thank you so much for the information that you have given me. I went and did exactly what you wrote and removed the arms and moved them to the shirt I was working on.

Thanks you again,
Jackie
