Everytime I highlight an image now to type in text, the entire image turns red, and when I type in text, it will kinda outline the text with moving dashes going around, I have shown both in the pic below, how can I get this to stop and go back to normal??? Thanks! Im using PS CS2 |

You just sected the "Type Mask" instead of "Type" tool. In the Toolbox, press the tiny arrow on the tool's button and select the "Horizontal Type Tool" item.

Also selecting the T and making sure it is set to horizontal (non mask) does not work either. UPDATE: Screen no longer turns red, but now all the colors are messed up....Regardless of what color I set text to, it types it in red! |

? Are you sure? Do you hcange the color through the Text Tool settings box, and NOT by changing the fg color?
