Hi there everyone, new to the forum and somewhat new to photoshop. I have text that I'm inserting on a map, I'd like to make the text one color and outline the text in another color. Is that possible in photoshop?? Thanks!!! Dani |

Type the text in the colour you want, then you rasterize it (Layer > Rasterize > Type) You now have a couple of options. 1. CTRL + click on the text layer Thumbnail in the layers palette to select the layer pixels. Then go Edit > Stroke, then choose a width and colour in the Stroke dialog 2. Double-click on the text Layer Thumbnail in the layers palette to open the Layer Styles dialog, then click on Stroke and play with the settings If you're not sure what stroke you want until you see it, the second way gives you more options and you can change it as many times as you want by opening the Layer Styles dialog. |
